• Ear Piercings •


Healing Time

Lobe • 1 - 2 months
Cartilage • 3 - 12 months

Our standard ear jewelry is a 316L surgical stainless steel barbell, labret, or fixed bead ring, typically in a 16g, 18g or 20g.

If you are interested in a jewelry upgrade, we have several jewelry options available in ASTM F-136 titanium, 14k yellow gold, and Bioplast as well.

Cartilage includes: helix, forward helix, scapha, tragus, anti-tragus, conch, daith, rook & industrial piercings.  A cartilage piercing may heal quickly in about 3 - 4 months, but it's not unusual to take longer, even up to a year, especially if you get more than one piercing at a time.

Our standard nostril jewelry is a 316L surgical stainless steel nostril screw, with a ball or crystal gem top, typically in sizes 18g or 20g.  Our standard septum jewelry is a 316L surgical stainless steel circular barbell or fixed bead ring, typically in sizes 14g or 16g.  Our standard eyebrow jewelry is a 316L surgical stainless steel curved barbell or fixed bead ring, typically in sizes 14g or 16g.

• Oral Piercings •


Healing Time

Tongue • 1 - 2 months
Lip • 2 - 3 months
Cheek • 3 - 4 months
Frenulum • 2 - 4 weeks

The standard jewelry included with your oral piercings are 316-L surgical stainless steel barbells (tongue), labrets (lips & cheeks), or curved barbells (frenulums or alternative lip placements). typically in sizes 16g or 14g.  Most oral piercings are notorious for swelling up quite a bit during the early stages of healing.  Most likely, you will initially be pierced with slightly longer jewelry, which you'll need to wear for usually at least a couple weeks before downsizing to shorter, better-fitting jewelry.  We're always more than happy to assist you with any jewelry-changing needs!

*nipple piercings generally take longer to heal for women than for men

The standard jewelry included with your navel piercing is a 14g 316-L surgical stainless steel curved barbell.  The standard jewelry included with your nipple piercing is a 14g 316-L surgical stainless steel straight barbell.

• Microdermal Implants •


Healing Time
• 2 - 3 months •

The standard jewelry included with your microdermal implant is a ASTM F-136 titanium anchor, and a 316-L surgical stainless steel disc gem top.  If you are interested in a jewelry upgrade, we have several other gem sizes, styles, and materials available!

Microdermal implants, or "dermals," can be a more permanent type of piercing, but at the same time they can also be more sensitive and prone to rejection than "normal" piercings, even when healed for several years.  While there are a multitude of options for placement, there are some locations that are not ideal for a microdermal.  Consult with your piercer if you have any questions about a unique placement.
